Kristina Kalergis

Kristina joined Friedman Estate Litigation after working for a national full-service firm in downtown Toronto. Kristina prepares wills, powers of attorney and trusts and provides advice to clients in the areas of estate planning, estate administration and real estate.

Kristina offers clients a holistic approach to estate planning and administration which allows her to provide Friedman Estate Litigation clients with a comprehensive experience that takes our clients’ unique personal lives, goals and financial situation into account. She takes the time to listen to clients’ concerns and goals with respect to their estate plan and works closely with them to develop a strategy that will work for them.

Kristina provides a full range of estate planning services, such as, without limitation:

• Wills including multiple Wills for probate planning
• Powers of Attorney for Property & Personal Care
• Retirement planning
• Business succession planning
• Family and Estate Transfers, Estate Freezes and Survivorship Applications

Kristina also provides clients with estate administration advice and provides advice to estate trustees, guiding them through the probate and estate administration process. Kristina is experienced in dealing with even the most complex estate issues.

Also, as part of her practice, Kristina provides real-estate advice to clients, whether it is regarding the purchase or sale of a home or cottage or negotiating the purchase or sale of a commercial property, Kristina assists our clients to ensure that the transaction proceeds as scheduled and smoothly without issue. Kristina is focused on protecting our clients’ interests leading up to, and beyond, the closing date.

When not at the office, Kristina enjoys golfing and playing volleyball, reading, and hiking with her partner and dog.
